Our Policies

  • Cancellation Policy - If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, notice is required 14 days in advance of arrival to obtain a refund of your initial deposit, less a $25 processing fee. If cancelled within 14 days prior to your reservation, you will be responsible for the entire balance of your stay as stated in your confirmation email letter. We will do everything in our power to re-rent the room, however if we cannot, you will be liable for the total reservation. The cancellation policy also applies to changes in your arrival/departure date which results in a shorter stay, and no refunds are provided for late arrivals or early departure. We understand that situations out of your control may arise and result in a cancellation within the 14 day policy. However, we must maintain this strict policy, due to our limited accomodations & shortened season.
  • Check-In is between 2pm-6pm. It's not a problem if you are going to be here any earlier or later, but please call or email us so we can make the necessary arrangements.
  • Check-Out time is 11am. Check out is at 11 am.  You are welcome to stay on the property later but we ask that you vacate your room by 11 am to give our housekeepers enough time to get it ready for the next guests.
  • Minimum Stays- When your stay includes part of a weekend, a two-night minimum is usually required, and a three-night minimum may apply on certain long holiday weekends. However, you are welcome to check with us in case we have a one night opening when you need it.
  • Deposits/Payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, personal checks, and cash accepted. A deposit of one night's stay is required to guarantee a reservation.  At our discretion, a larger deposit may be required for stays of 5 nights or greater. Group reservations may require a 50% deposit which is non-refundable.
  • Children: Due to the fact our Inns are not child proofed, well behaved children over the age of twelve are welcome. If you need accomodations for children under the age of twelve, please call us.
  • Pets- Sorry, but we cannot accommodate pets. We can recommend places in the area where your pet could stay.
  • Smoking-is not allowed in any of the guest rooms, baths, common areas or on the outside porches, but is permitted in certain designated areas.  Cigar smoking is not allowed on property. There is a cleaning fee of $150 which will be charged if this smoking policy has been violated.
  • Group reservations (three or more rooms) can be subject to additional charges, such as clean up fees, additional gratuities for housekeepers and repair and re-placement of certain linens and other damages that are not in the ordinary course of business.
